The new IPEL-D12V-IRW3 is the 3rd generation of our top-of-the-line dome camera. It has been upgraded with every AI-enhanced stream, image management, cybersecurity, and metadata detection skill we could cram into it. With a massive 12 million pixels to work with and the latest AI upgrades, the phrase “advanced camera” is an understatement. 12MP is a better resolution than studio cameras of a few years ago, and the camera’s AI detection skills & databases that used to take a server rack of computers are now built into this camera.

12MP UHD Extreme Starlight Video Sensor

IPEL-D12V-IRW3’s Starlight sensor chipset processes & streams 4000 horizontal × 3000 vertical pixels at rates up to 30 frames per second. The 12 million pixel grid packed into the camera’s 1.7" CMOS video chip brings another benefit beyond resolution - they suck up every available photon, so the D12V boasts color rendition all the way down to 0.0009 lux.

Powered Zoom Lens

A great 12MP video chip this excellent deserves a great autofocus lens that delivers a consistent, optically sharp image. IPEL-D12V-IRW3’s 2.7mm (medium wide) to 12MM (medium telephoto) power zoom lens is the perfect match. This lens achieves a zoom-variable variable 106°– 45° horizontal field of view. Zoom control is easily accomplished with an on-screen menu or via phone app screen touch or pop-up control wheel.

Night Vision With Brains

IPEL-D12V-IRW3 uses Smart IR technology to constantly regulate the intensity of its 3 large IR LED illuminators. It adjusts the camera's advanced autoexposure integrated into FlexSmartAi for maximum clarity and over 131 feet of night vision range.

A Video Stream Of Every Need

Not every video feed needs to be 4K. So the D12V is ONVIF Profile S/G/T, HTML5, P2P capable, and can stream five resolution/frame rate adjustable streams, 4 HD. This output flexibility manages video efficiency and minimizes mobile & VMS bandwidth restriction effects. Region Of Interest (ROI) can be assigned for each stream to allow specific areas to be more closely monitored.

Extreme Detection & Recognition

D12V's hyper-dense pixel field & resolution means unparalleled detection capabilities. The camera's built-in FlexSmartAi capabilities are the best we have ever offered, and due to the 12 million pixel "data points" provided in each frame, the D12V's D.O.R.I. ratings are off the chart - for example, at the lens's 12mm optical telephoto setting, dependable facial recognition range is over 60 feet!

From facial & license plate recognition to Metadata, from people counting to queue management, the new D12V’s AI is equipped to make it happen. Its advanced capabilities include abandoned object & missing object detection, and IVS Tripwire & Perimeter Protection algorithms cut false alarms by over 90%. To stream its impressive 4K video, the D12V uses our most advanced Ai-assisted H.265 video compression codec, achieving an ultra-low bit rate of 32 kbps–16384 kbps. D12V can stream both SMART H.264+ with Scalable Video Coding (SVC) for added detail & depth and HVEC H.265+, our exclusive AI-enhanced compression for maximum NVR compatibility.

Updateable Cybersecurity

D12V ensures cybersecurity with encrypted video transmissions and encrypted SD card storage, multi-stage password & access level controls, and trusted protection settings for maximum access & stream protections, with easy firmware updates.

Big Camera, Tough Compact Case

Despite the D12V's cutting-edge capabilities, at a little over 5" in diameter and 6.25" tall, it is no larger than a standard mid-sized dome security camera, and its metal case and Lexan dome are both IP67 weatherproof, with an operating range of –40°F to +140°F with an IK10 vandal-resistant rating.

D12V has screwdriver-fit mount options to make installation a breeze. It can run on a single POE+ network line or local 24VAC or 12VDC power. It has 3/2 alarm and 2 audio in/out ports, an RS-485 control & BNC test connector, and an internal slot for up to a 512Gb mSD card.
