The 3 Stages Of ADW2’s Active Deterrence:
Stage 1: Silent Starlight Monitor
The new ADW2 version adds a 3rd set of human invisible IR illuminators in addition to the ADW1 version’s warm white full-color illuminator and red & blue Active Deterrence LEDs. IR night vision is automatic and reaches out 95+ feet for sharp gray-scale images when ambient light drops below the Starlight sensor’s ultra-low 0.003 Lux. It will lurk in passive observation mode as long as the camera’s smart iMD system senses no intrusions.
Stage 2: Alerted To Potential Visitors
When the camera’s upgraded iMD 2.0 detects human or vehicle motion, it flips the Starlight video sensor to 4MP QHD Full Color video. If there is not enough ambient lighting, the warm white illuminator kicks on. If there is plenty of lighting the Warm LEDs will remain off. It’s set to record full-color video of everything in its 101° wide Field of View. And on our most advanced NVRs, iMD 2.0 enables advanced object search in recorded footage.
Stage 3: Warning Off Intruders
When a person or vehicle continues closer and violates a user-defined iMD tripwire or trigger zone, the IPMX-E40F-ADW2 unleashes the level of Active Deterrence effects you’ve set, ranging from a verbal warning to flashing its red & blue lights & setting off a detection siren. It instantly alerts you about an unwelcome visitor by push or app notification or email and marks your NVR’s video timeline at the event for easy review using Object Search. Just as importantly, you can disable any AD events set off by accident or forgetfulness in your IC View+ app by tapping the alarm disarm button.
